Seeking high-spirited, people-centric, enthusiastic and out-going individuals (we’re all about fun!). Job entails assisting with delivery, set-up and staffing at special events that occur mostly in the late afternoon and evenings. Most of our events are on the weekend and last 4-8 hours. Compensated time begins from our starting point in Chicago and concludes when we make a full roundtrip return.

Responsibilities:

• Requires perfect attendance and punctuality
• Must be courteous, friendly and professional at all times to complement our Magic Uplighting, Inc. brand
• Must enjoy having fun
• You will assist with set-up and tear down (about a 20-minute process)
• And business, casual attire is how we generally roll
• Did we mention, you must want to have fun?

Skills:

• Be engaging and entertaining
• Possess basic computer knowledge
• Be able to help lift a 50 lb monitor, push and pull roadie crates and be able to stand for up to 6 hours
• Must be able to stand without assistance for up to 6 hours
• Must have a driver’s license and valid car insurance (however, in most cases, you’ll ride with the event lead)
• If you’ve ever been in the events industry, have a love of photography, weddings, events or just genuinely love making people happy, this is a great job!
